Bodymovin plugin suddenly stopped working

Bodymovin Plugin Not Working in Adobe After Effects – Unable to Export JSON Files

I'm facing an issue with the Bodymovin plugin in Adobe After Effects. The plugin is not working properly, and I'm unable to export animations in JSON format.

This issue is affecting my workflow, as I rely on Bodymovin to export Lottie animations for web and UI projects.

I've tried using the plugin, but it's not functioning as expected.

Issue Details:

  • Plugin: Bodymovin

  • Software: Adobe After Effects

  • Issue: Unable to export animations in JSON format.

  • Impact: Unable to generate Lottie JSON files for development.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is there any known solution or compatibility issue with the latest version of After Effects?

I would appreciate any help or guidance from the Adobe community or plugin developers.

Thank you!

Hi, since Bodymovin is a third-party plug-in, please contact its developer first. They’re best placed to confirm compatibility with your After Effects version and help troubleshoot the export issue.

Do you see an error message when exporting? If so, please share it along with your AE and Bodymovin versions, and I’ll also check internally for any known compatibility issues.

    Thanks,
    Nishu
