Both screens are not brightening up [Urgent Help!!]

Andrew uses Set Matte before the Displacement Map effect on Layer 2 the Glitch Comp to change the Opacity of Layer 2. Layer 1, Displacement Map Comp has the visibility turned off and it has been set as the layer source for the Set Matte Effect on layer 2.

Your screenshot shows a little displacement in the Comp panel locked to the Glitch Comp but no obvious change in opacity, but the brightness (white) of the fractal noise layer is awfully high so it is not really telling me very much.

Check the settings in the Glitch comp and verify that Set Matte is configured properly, and pick a setting in Fractal noise where the pattern is mostly black. 

Andrew moves very fast and most of the time he does not leave anything out. You just have to pay close attention. 

Start your own troubleshooting process by selecting the layers that are giving you problems and pressing the U key twice to show all modified properties. That will make things easier to track. It took about 2 minutes to set this up and you can clearly see everything that I did in both comps.
