Brand new high-end MacBook Pro, simple AE project, long save times (20-30sec)

Hi,

The title says it all.... 2017 MacBook Pro customized with all the best options for graphics card, ram, etc.

Simple AE project... but it still takes way too long to save which is quite frustrating.

Anyone have any thoughts? Thank you

    Look at your file size.  If it's over 2.5MB you're probably using Warp Stabilizer or Rotobrush and that information is saved in the project file.

    Hi Dave thanks for your response. You are right. No need to read all the ramble below but it describes why I thought there was an issue.

    The project size is quite large (26MB) due to just a lot of stuff going on in the project (warp stabilizer and rotobrkush are not used though). That is the reason.

    I was simply negligent to not check a more simple project... I thought I recalled it taking a long time to save in a previous much simpler project but I guess I was wrong.... because I just checked and it saves quickly.
