Brush-Clone Tool Frame by Frame

Hello
Most of the editing work I do is in CS 6 Premiere Pro and Audition. Because of an unsual situation working with a subject that needed brush and/or clone work I elected to use Adobe After Effects. I know the basics so am able to get around.
The subject is with hair loss. The subject needs the bare scalp area to be fixed. I started to work with both clone and brush to fill in that area.

I have a short piece to illustrate inserted here. It begins with the missing hair filled in with paint brush-clone. I did this using Paint - Duration - Single Frame. As one will notice the work applied to 'single frame' as one advances along with timeline the blackish brush-clone material floats along beyond what should have been applied only to single frame. It as though the effect was not applied to each frame because the effects roll into the remainder of the clip. I thought the effect would have been fixed into each frame.
I am willing to spend a day working on this four minute area with the lady showing her bare scalp - to apply frame by frame the brush stroke.
How can I lock in what I do only to the frames that I am working on within the  'single frame?
Thanks for only help! Advise would be most welcomed, with gratitude.

Correct answer Mylenium

You will have to set the brush duration to one frame as well. Drill into the effect properties to trim the existing frames and chgeck the duration on the brush palette for future work. Other than that you may also consider using a duplicate of the layer and some tracking and masking work instead of brushing. The shot looks easiy enough for that and the white gash of the lady#s bald spot should offer enough for some tracking points to latch on to (position + rotation).
