Brush tool crash

Both the brush and rotobrush tools do not work. When I start using them, after effects turns off.
AE is updated to the latest 23.3.0
Mac Studio M1 Ultra MacOS 13.3.1
I can't work with those tools!
Any solution?

    Are you opening the layer in the Laner Panel? Both of those tools only work in the Layer Panel. Right-click on a layer and select Open/Layer

    Yes, I have been working with that tool for many years and I know how to use it. The problem is that when you use it on your layer, when you select the brush and start using it on your layer, the after effects closes

    Sorry to hear about the crash, salvaestudio.

    Do you see any error messages or crash reports? Try updating After Effects to the latest version (23.6) and see if you still get the issue.
