does anyone know how to fix this two screens everytime that i try to play my video it opens a new compostion and plays in there with no timeline or anything its just a screen at the bottom i need help im really started to get angry rn cause i feel stupid this happend randomly as i was reloding a clip because it was glitching and then next thing u know it have two screen that wont even go away and no it not the viewing its only at one and mean while i still have two screens. please someone help me before i go insane. thank you!

It looks like the composition panel just got moved down to dock with the timeline.

Try going to the Window menu at the top of After Effects.

Window > Workspace > Default

Then

Window > Workspace > Reset "Default" to Saved Layout

If you like a different workspace other than Default ( I LIke the one called Standard) just swap out that name instead.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
