Question

C4D to After Effects Null issue

Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to make a video where I display some video's on a building. The building is made in C4D and a camera flies around it. I made nulls (external composoting tags) on the 4 different sides of the buildings. Baked the keyframes of the camera movement and exported to AAE.

Now when I view it in after effects the nulls don't stick to the walls of the building properly. At some camera angles they seem fine but then at others the nulls are all the way inside the building or meters away from it at other angles.

I'm kinda at a loss for things to try. Aspect ratio and FPS are the same all across the board so that isn't the issue. The After Effects camera and C4D camera have the same settings (Focal length etc) so I don't think that's the issue either.

If anybody has any ideas what the issue could be that would be greatly appreciated.
You can download the C4D file here and try for yourself: https://we.tl/t-EEHTTBsQNwF

Thank you in advance!

Check your scene settings in C4D and the comp settings in AE. This sounds like they don't match and thus produce a different appearance. And just for the record: Screenshots are generally more useful than providing project files. Peopel may not have the time or inclination to download and open them or simply use different versions, so they cannot have a look one way or the other.

Is there any specific things I should look for in the Scene and comp settings? I feel like I have checked everything and it all seems to match.
