Camera Tracking: insert composition

Is there a way to insert a re-useable graphic (e.g. from a separate comp) when using Camera Tracking?

 

When I right-click, I currently just have to insert a solid, then convert that to a pre-comp. But I'd like to insert multiple copies of the same composition throughout the video, rather than creating individual ones.

 

Is this possible?

You can replace content on the timeline by Alt-dragging items from the project window onto the selected layer. There's also a shortcut for this. Look it up in the online help. I keep forgetting because it's different on German keyboards, anyway.
