Can an object follow a shape's dots while in animation?

Hello

I really don't know how can I solve this. As you can see in the video, I have a stick with 2 dots. I just create a shape animation with theese dots. But I want to the red ball follow the dots movement. Especcially 2nd dots movement. How can I that? How can an object follow the any shape's dots?
