Question

Can I batch adjust text and image movement to have less linear movement

Hi,

I've been working on about 50 slides in After Effects that have multiple texts and images easing in and out of frame and on and off screen. The client just asked me to make all these movements have an even less linear feel to them (more ramp up speed).

Is there a way for me to do this for all the slides at once as opposed to going through one by one and adjusting each one?

Thanks for your help!

You could also animate one of the layers, select all of the keyframes, then create an animation preset that you can apply to each layer. You just have to ensure that the CTI (current time indicator) is at the start of each layer before applying the preset.

There's a gazillion scripts for custom eases on AEScripts.com, so download/ buy one of those and massage your stuff. Of course you can always try to just tweak it once and then save an animation preset and apply it to other layers or use valueAtTime() expressions and similar referencing the prototype animation. Entirely depends...
