can I recover an after effects project
my after effects crashed while i was working on this project for 3 hours. my auto saving is on, however nothing from that project was saved. can i get it back?

Did you saved the project once manually?
Auto-saved files should be next to the project file.
If you don't saved once, search the whole computer for *.aep files and cross fingers, since I'm not sure if AE even starts auto-saving on an unsaved project.
You can also open AE and find recent projects in file-menu.
