Can not open Cinema 4d lite because of "Maxon License Manager" in AE

I owe a CC subscription and I was working with AE and Cinema 4D lite without any problem, but it stopped working randomly and started showing me a registration pop-up asking me if I want to try the full Cinema version. No matter what I choose (YES or NO), the answer it is always the same: it opens Maxon's License Manager and it does not allow me to do anything else. Any ideas on how to solve it? Thanks!

I ran into this in AE 2020. You need to register C4D light with Maxon and will have to sign in when you are using C4D light through AE.
