Can't change font: 'Unable to set transform. GDI Status: InvalidParameter'

Hello,

I've recently started using After Effects. Everytime I want to change the font family of a text, a warning pops up stating: 'Unable to set transform. GDI Status: Invalid Parameter.' When I click OK, the warning keeps popping up and so I can't move on.

Does anyone know how to fix this or what I might be doing wrong?

Working with:

AE version 23.2.1 (Build 3)

Windows 11 Home (version 22H2)

Well, if anyone ever runs into this problem: I fixed it! It turned out that there was some kind of bug in one of the fonts. The error kept happening when I scrolled to a certain point in the font list. I deleted the font and now the problem is solved.

Hope this is helpful for someone out there. 😉

My fonts are fine. A simple reinstall fix it for me.
