Can't hear sound from video recordings downloaded from GoToMeeting in After Effects

I've tried all the normal - I can't hear in AE troublshoots - and these videos I can hear in every other software. Codec is MPEG-4 AAC, H.264 and sounds channel = mono.

 

I've contacted GoToMeeting and tested different methods and other people's copies of AE.

 

Any thoughts or help for me?

Try transcoding your meeting video to a standard production format using the Adobe media encoder or some other software. It is very likely that the original audio is not compliant.

    Hi hilped,

     

    Is this issue occurring with a specific recording or all recordings from GoToMeeting? You might want to try transcoding the file using Media Encoder and then importing it into After Effects.

    Please let us know if this approach resolves the problem.
