Can't import gif and screen recorded video. Please help me!!
Hi guys. Thanks for reading my question.
I made some gif files in Photoshop CC (File>Export>Save for Web Legacy>GIF). All of them work well when I open with Chrome.
But when I tried to import some of those files in After Effects, it says "After Effects Error : File "#11_2.gif" cannot be opened, it may be in an unsupported format.(86::1)".
What's weird is that other gif could be imported without any problem. I don't know the difference between them. I made all of them in the same way in Photoshop.
So, I decided to open the gif files which I could not import with chrome and screen record them.
I made two screen recorded videos(command-shift-5-record on mac) which screen recorded the same gif.
But one of the videos could be imported and another one could not be imported in After Effects and it says "After Effects Error: Could not open source file. Please check that file exists with correct permissions.(86::1)". As I click ok, it says "After Effects Error: file "#11_1.mov" cannot be imported-this 'Mood' file is damaged or unsupported".
When I tried to import the problematic gif in Premiere Pro CC, Error Message 'Unsupported format or damaged file' comes up.
When I tried to import the problematic screen recorded video, 'the file has complex edit list. We were unable to open the file on disk' came up.
I don't have any idea what's going on here.
Is there anyone can help me? Please help me solve the problem. Pleaaaaasssssssseeeeeeeeee.
