Question

Can't open AE due to sapphire plugin?

Hello, first post on this sight

Like a few other people I've seen, I'm having issues with opening after effects as it keeps saying that the Sapphire plugin does not exist.

I've tried basically everything, reinstalling, deleting sapphire folders, and even the "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/" thing, but for me it does not show a plugins folder. Are there any updated solutions to this?

After Effects should still launch if a plugin is missing.

If the application is not launching, try Safe Mode.

Also, double-check that the missing plugin has not been disabled by Effects Manager.

More information is available here:  https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/effect-manager.html
