Hi, I wanted to render high resolution footage from a image sequence. It's supposed to be a footage for a Occulus Quest 2, so the sequence are the size of the output format : a monoscopic 360deg at 8192x4096px

When I try to export it, after effect crash.

How can I prevent that?

I'm running After Effect 2021 in windows 10 with a RTX 2070, Ryzen 7 and 32go DDR4.

Thanks in advance.

Hi F.Jely,

Do you see any error message or crash report when it crashes? As the expert suggested, try exporting using Media Encoder and see if it works.

Let us know the outcome.

Thanks,

Nishu

What happens if you try to render at a lower resolution? I would suggest to deactivate GPU processing but if your are using the VR options in AE it is mandatory to have GPU active.
