Question

Can't resize AE window on my Windows 10 desktop properly

This has only started happening after the latest update. After I launched the software, I did the normal window resizing to fit part of my screen, but after I snapped any of the sides to a desktop edge the window gets stuck and I can't move it anymore.

I then tried the relaunch and reset the preferences by holding Ctrl+Shift+Alt key. This does release the window but again if I snap the window on to any edge it gets stuck again.

I can still minimize/maximize via the icons at the top, but the restore button brings the window to the stuck position.

I tested other Abode apps and they all seem to work fine so it looks like it's an AE thing.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Looks like either a Workspace, Script/Extension or Monitor issue. Try resetting your Workspace to one of AE's default setting. If this doesn't help then there could be an offending Script or Extension that may either be open or running. Let us know once you've tried these options.

Thanks for the fast reply. I tried changing the workspace but that didn't work. So as I have quite a few old scripts, I decided to do a fresh install and only keep what I actually use. I uninstalled, cleared all pref, and installed again and tried using it. To start with I thought it was the file I was working on as it's old and quite heavy, so I tried on a brand new file and it still does the same. It seemed fine to start with and then it got stuck again. I really don't think this is my monitor, as AE is only software I'm having a problem with.
