Can't scale layer mask from centre

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd ask this since it seems to not be a feature, but how do I scale a mask from centre? When creating shapes (and in most other Adobe programs) you can create or transform from centre by holding Option/Alt, clicking and dragging but that doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone have another method to scale masks from centre other than clicking Mask Path and manually setting the size?
