Cannot change frame rate to seconds even after all changes in settings

Hey all,

After Effects has decided to change my timecode and even after I have made changes in settings. I have watched several tutorials but no ways it changes to seconds.

Any advise?

If you are talking about time ruler in the timeline, AE will show you the time based on the size of your timeline. In your composition is not too long (for example 2 seconds), you always will see frames and seconds.

 

If you are talking about the display timecode (in the upper-left side of the timeline panel) you can change it into frames or timecode as simple as clicking over the number while holding the control (PC) or command (Mac) key.
