I have installed the new After effects 26.2.1
Specifically to use Depth of field in Advanced 3D, but as ya’ll can see, i cannot enable the depth of field option, nor do i see it in my properties of the camera when i add it on my timeline.
Anybody knows the solution ?

    Hi amaan,

Thanks for reaching out. The depth of field feature is not available in the official release as of now. It is still in beta. You can install the beta version and try the feature. Here's how: https://adobe.ly/49Dpqgw

Hope it helps. Let me know if there are any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Nishu

Thank you for you kind reply Nishu
But i don’t see beta version of After effects in my creative cloud
All i see is Illustrator in Pre-release section
    Cannot see beta section here

That’s the feature why i bought this subscription, and If i cannot use it, then that’s a problem for me.
My subscription is a student one btw, is that the reason i cannot use beta ones?
If that’s true then what do i do now? I wanted that feature badly.

Waiting for your response, Thank you.

I’m not sure if a student license prevents it, but this is where all the beta/pre-release apps can be installed in the Creative Cloud app:
