Cannot export to AME from AF even after latest update

Help, this is really frustrating. Just updated both version AF and AME,  to the latest versions. I was able to export a 3sec clip and render to AME the first time. Second time file doesn't show on  workflow window.

I tried to check preferences, I dragged and drop AF file, nothing works. Its hanging in there. How is this possible? Can you please help, this is a simple Instagram vid. It shouldn't be this complicated.

Hi Kay5FEA,

 

Sorry for your issue. Would you mind sharing the following details:

  • What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)?
  • Does it happen only with the existing projects or with newly created projects as well?
  • What happens if you leave the Media Encoder trying to connect to the project? Does it show any error message?

Hi,

I tried several options, including the one mentioned below.

In the end I uninstall the latest version and installed 18.4.1 for AF and 15.4.2 for AME.

This did the trick for now.

Just to note that I performed this update at home on my personal Mac, which I purchase last March, and I had the exact same issue on the latest update.
