Cannot import Illustrator files from Cloud into After Effects file on Cloud.

A lot of my files are saved on the Adobe Create Cloud, so that I can work at home or in office. The issue is, whether I saved the AE file on my computer or in the Cloud, I cant access the Illustrator files on the Cloud or I can't find them. They seem to have different locations just by looking at the import pop up in After Effects - no Ai files to be seen. And when I open the Ai Application I see all the Cloud based files to open with the option to import from the Computer - just like the import pop up from After Effects. Is it possible that they don't correlate or so? 

I'd very much appreciate if someone can help me solve this issue or find a work around. Thanks
