Cannot make pre composed Independent

Hi forum.

Please shed some light to my problem. 

I have pre composed 2 shape layers, and I'm duplicating the pre composed in the panel section (not the timeline). I then rename the precomposition, drag it into my timeline but I cannot make it independent, its still yellow rectangle.
