Cannot open file - Error reading the text layer. Skipping the text layer

Hi I am getting this error now when trying to open a project file.

I did install a new font for this project - but I have already uninstalled/reinstalled the font.

I do not else to try.

    Did you try opening the project file while that font was uninstalled? 
    If that works (and you can't just choose a different typeface), you might try looking for an online type format convertor - to change it from .ttf to .otf, for example, and see if that makes a difference.
