Cant Do Anything In After Effects & Creative Cloud Blank

Hello, so yesterday I was planning on making a mp4 file to convert to a gif and when I opened After Effects,, I could close the 3-d tab that pops up but cant click on any buttons like effects & presets and composition (video file in description) can someone help me find a solution?

Start by rebooting your system. I agree with @RobShultz . Something on your system appears "stuck", though not necessarily a keyboard key. Could just as well be a misconfigured tablet or mouse driver firing commands or some background app continually stealing the focus.
