Cant get 3D environment into scene

As the clip shows I have made an 3D object in an environment in Elements.

But only the object shown in AE...

Can anyone please tell me how to get the 3D background environment into the scene?

Did you spend any time with the excellent tutorials produced by Andrew Kramer of Video Copilot? Here's the playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA_K6oZxm64taklpLks12GlWJyqhKXLq0

 

All you have to do is go to the Render settings in the Element Effects Control Panel and turn on Show Background. Here's the tutorial that shows you the options: 

Andrew goes over the other options and gives you a good rundown on the workflows.

The background in E3D is merely for preview purposes in the editor and to produce reflections. You have to add the image as a regular layer in AE.
