Cant setup GPU render for RTX 2070

So I had a GTX 970... and I guess it could not do GPU renders since its old.. so got brand new RTX 2070.. like 10 min ago and

was expected to watch it blaze through renders and previews... Nope.. still doing CPU..  so in Previews setup under GPU info, it shows that it knows there is a RTX 2070 in there.. just tells me that it knows that.. doesnt give me all that extra dialog to change from CPU to GPU. I even tried to add my card to that very limited list (they ever update that) and still doesnt work.. What am I missing to get this thing to use my GPU for renders ?

Have you already updated the graphic driver?

Nothing to fix because essentially nothing is wrong. RTX cards use CUDA 6/ 7, the last version AE supported was CUDA 4.5 or something like that. Raytrace 3D will never work with this new stuff. It's a completely different architecture. Everything else seems to be A-okay, at least where OpenGL-based acceleration is concerned. And if you don't mind: It's not that terribly useful to just post info from within AE when we don't know the least bit about your system. Even if all that stuff worked in theory you could still exhaust all graphics hardware resources e.g. with an unusual screen setup or some concurrently running stuff. Your issue with the 970 never even working seems to point at some such thing going on, as otherwise it should have fulfilled the criteria.
