Card Wipe Cropping Issue

Hi there,

Really new to working with AE here, struggling with a transition issue, where I've applied a card wipe transition and it will not stop cropping the top and bottom of the image I applied it to. I know it's the transition issue as I remove it and the areas are visible again.

Some googling hasn't come up with many results, but I'm sure it's a simple fix?

Pre-compose the layer to larger comp. Nothing wrong here, you just need to understand how AE's rendering pipeline works and how to structure it to get usable results, especially with dynamically rasterized content like vector artwork..
