CC Page Turn back page animation

I am animating a book where each page has animation on it. Each page is its own composition. When the page turns, the paired back page does not play the animation. Anyone know ho wI can get the animation to play on the back page?

I was able to whip up a simple comp with a main comp (where the page turn effect is) and a page 1 and page 2 comp. Inside each of the comps there was some font moving around. After setting up the back page being page 2 in the effect, it did not have any issues animating the project. One thing to consider is that I did not try any time manipulation like timewarp, time remapping or time stretch on the back page and both pages were in sync. My guess is that your back page animation was not in sync with your front page.

Without seeing at least an expanded flowchart of your project it's pretty hard to tell what's going on. I haven't got time to run any test right now but there is nothing inherent in a standard nested comp (your pages) that would prevent them from playing back with used as a source layer in an effect.

What is your application? I suppose from your indication that it is Indesign, so I will move from Adobe Creative Cloud to InDesign.
