CC Particle World: Is it possible to tilt producer so it faces AT you? Instead of particles falling down, they're blowing at you?

I just want to create rain in my scene.

But my background is a painting I made, drawn in 3-point perspective, with the impression that you’re looking slightly upward toward the sky.

When using the particle world effect, I want the rain to look like lines that are falling, but it appears they’re sort of radiating outward. For example, the rain particles toward the center appear vertical, but as you look closer to the edges of the screen, the particles should be more angled. So the entire rain scene is sort of cone-shaped.

    Thanks for the question. I don't think that's possible, since CC Particle World is a 2.5D system with a virtual camera. You probably need to look at moving the emitter in Z space instead. Can you try that? Hopefully, the community can assist you with tips, as well. Let us know how it goes.

    If you wanted particles to not fall down couldn’t you just reduce/remove the value for gravity? That should make particles shoot at you.

    Are there any 3D elements in your scene?   If so, you could create a precomp, add CC Particle World to that, add a camera and angle the camera to be below the particles, looking up at the angle you want.

    If there aren’t any other 3D elements, you can do all the above as the only things that will be affected will be the particles.
