CCSphere quality after effects

Hello, I am using the CC sphere effect on a vector image and the result I get is super pixelated. After reading several comments I tried to save the situation by altering the radius, but still the outcome doesn't change much.

There is nothing to change. It's an effect that's limited by the internal size of its rasterized buffers. If you need it to be "infinitely sharp" you actually have to transform/ convert your vectors into a proper 3D object in a 3D program or find an alternate effect that creates spheres like VC Orb. Still, even those will not allow infinitely large textures and eventually show pixels. It's inherent in how this stuff works.

Yeah.. that was my thought as well.. however vc orb is too heavy for my hardware apparently. thanks
