CEP or Script CC libraries

I asked a while back if it was possible to access library items via script or CEP.

Has anyone been able to attach their plugin to include libraries into their script or CEP's?

It seems daft you can pretty much access everything else, but there are features that my scripts and CEP can do that libraries can't and it would be nice to marry the two together to get the best of both worlds
