Character in Cinema 4D Lite?

Hello

Have looked at a number of tutorials that show how to change objects in After Effect by Character> Commands> Replace with. But in Cinema 4d Lite there is no such button as I find. Are they not this version of Cinema 4d or are they hidden?

    C4D Lite has no character animation tools at all. You need the commercial Studio version for this kind of work.

    Okay thanks. Do you know if there is any plugin / script that can help replace model in C4D Lite? Have done a scene that I would like to change one model to another with in the same scene. Make animations that will then go into After Effects

    If you have exported your AE comp as a C4D file you can always import other 3D models and you can even do some limited animation. You'll just need to have some solids or shape layers as place holders so you know where to put the model.
