Issue - Cine4d Lite - Will Not Close with “Edit Close, or Clicking “Red X”. Only creates new project.
Steps to reproduce - Open Cin4d Lite, create project, save, try to close Cin4d with “X” or Menu>Close. (It does close when right clicking on Icon in doc (Max OS)
Expected result - App Should Close?
Actual result - New Project Copy is Created
Adobe After Effects version - CC 26,
Operating system - Osx Tahoe 26.3.1

Hi there @WhyAdoobie?, this is just how Cinema 4D works. The File > Close command and the red X close the current project. If you want to quit, you can go to the “Cinema 4D” menu and choose Quit Cinema 4D, which will do the same thing as right-clicking on the Dock icon.
I would definitely open a support ticket with Maxon and send them the _BugReport.txt file shown in the error. Hopefully they can look at it and figure out what’s going on.
