Cinema 4D (Choose installation button missing) in After Effects

Question

how to fix this?

i was gonna put my c4d path, so i can use to make 3d text in after effects

but it gives me an error that he needs to download c4d r24 or s24

but i have c4d r25

so ill go to the composition setting set my renderer to c4d and go to options so i can set my c4d to ae

but theres no (Choose Installation...) button!

idk how to fix this 😞

Check the Maxon web site. perhaps you're missing a patch/ updated C4D plug-ins. Outside that the usual things apply: Check, whether the necessary temp folders and application path are accessible and you have no permissions issues, reinstall AE and C4D with sufficient user privileges.
