Circle to Alpha Channel Transition

Does anyone know how to make this (attached)?

I’m able to make the first circle but once it’s keyframed to take up the whole screen I don’t know how to make a second hollow circle that reveals the alpha layer again. The yellow circle in the example above should reveal the alpha channel
