Classic 3D Renderer - Crash - AE 2024 & Beta

Plugin: VC ORB

Template: 3D Earth Connections V2 

 

Ae 2024 Beta kept crashing each time I tried to edit a value in VC ORB until I found that I needed to switch to the Advanced 3D or C4D Renderer. This fixed the bug. I switched back to the Classic 3D to try, and it stopped crashing.

Then I saved my project. I restarted AE 2024 Beta to check if it still worked, and it did.

Then I tried using AE 2024 version 24.1.0. It crashed, and I decided to record to show the crash and the fix.

      @nishu_kush  Yes it's VCOrb_1.0.3_Installer_x64_2022.exe

       

      I just tried with AE (Beta) version 24.4.0 (build 23), and it didn't crash, but I need to move the mouse out of the effect panel to update the value / unfreeze AE. 

       

      I noticed that if I change the value using the mouse, there is no problem,
