Clean install AE / ME - Render issues

Hi, i'm having real issues with AE and Media Encoder. Sending comps to ME takes at least 5min or just never appears. When they do I just get the dynamic link blue bar for ages, then it'll render or just fail. It's quicker to render everything out from AE as .movs then render those out as MP4s in ME. Crazy. 

 

Just out of curiosity I wanted to uninstall AE and ME and see if that's fixes any issues. I've tried the Creative Cloud Cleaner app and using Windows 10 uninstaller etc. Reset the PC, reinstall everything but when I boot AE back up, all my settings, plugins and previous opened files etc. are still there. 

 

How do I completely remove AE and any hidden files so I get a completely clean install AE?

I'm sorry my post didn't hit the mark with you.

My post was imformative, and contained teste, working solutions to the OPs problem.

I'm not entirely sure your response was constructive or helps the OP solve their problem.

The preferences are stored in your normal user folder. You may just need to unhide all folders. The rest is not really clear since you have not offered any actual system information beyond a blanket "It's Windows 10." If sending stuff to AME really takes that long, then you may have other issues like running out of temp disk space or network ports being blocked just like there could of course be all manner of issues with leaky drivers silently crashing and such. Just deleting some prefs and caches may not solve your issues.

I tried to reply with various solutions, all to do with legitamate software removal tools and processes, but the system is censoring me!! - wow!
