Clone Tool Time Lock

Hello everyone,

I have a question about the clone stamp tool properti in AE, namely "Lock Source Time". I just retouched a video with about 200 stokes, onnly to realize at the end that the "Lock Source Time" was not active... Now in the properties of each individual stoke i see "Clone time shift" instead of "Clone time"... is there a way to lock the strokes to a specific frame at this point? Keyframes dont work niether do expressions... It seems unrealistic that some properties in AE cant change, please help!

Thanks in advance!

Val

    Ok,

Well if nobody knows, I figured out a way around. Just animate the "clone times shift" property setting the first keyframe to 0000, and final to the number of the frames -1. This technique has advantage over the lock source time, because it allows to replicate grain in the video, so the strokes look seamless with rest of the shot.

Still, if anyone knows how to change "clone time shift" to simply "clone time" after the stroke is drawn please share!

    Cheers!
