Closing folders

Hi

When I search for assets in the project search box and I select an image to put into my project.
All the folders close when they were originally open.
I need to stop the folders auto closing when I search for something as atm I need to manually reopen the folder I need.

Im not sure if this is a bug or its normal.

Yes when I drag a source from the project panel onto the timeline it automactly closes all the folders.

I dont understand the logic behind auto closing folders because of a search?

their must be a way to fix this as its very time consuming to have to reopon all the folders I need after each search

That doesn't happen for me, only when I click that reset, otherwise they remain open.

Can you check you're on the latest version? And maybe check if this affects local files as well as network files?

I'm wondering if the files have a dynamic link which might be triggering this.

I think this is normal. When you click the X to remove your filters, it's not the same as a back button.

I was talking about when you clear the filters:

Are you saying that this happens when you drag a source from the project panel onto the timeline?

There's no way to change this, as far as I know.
