Collect Items collects unwanted files

When trying to collect files (from file>dependencies>collect files) and using "for selected comps", it selects too many files, not only the ones i have selected, but other footage as well.

For example, if i select a composition with only one video clip in it, for some reason it will also select other files, as you can see from the screenshot. How can i solve this?

By far the fastest way to figure out what is going to be included when you collect files is to open up the Flowchart and expand it. Everything downstream will be included. Move all attributes does not change what is in the flowchart, it just changes where it is.

i found the answer on my own: when precomposing a clip, i select "move all attributes into the new composition", and when i decide to collect that specific composition, it ends up also collecting the first composizion i made when creating the project as well as all the other compositions that have "move all attributes into the new composition" selected when i first made them. i solved this by clicking on "leave all attributes in [first composition i made upon making the project]"
