Color Management Horrorshow
This isn't a criticism but more of a general observation about the stresses of colour management, particularly now that we're all having to get our heads around ACES etc.
I've been doing graphics for 20 years, I'm good at maths and have a degree in AI. I'm a nerdy designer. But I basically have no idea what I'm doing in the sea of confusing acronyms and unintuitive working spaces. I'm pretty much pressing random buttons till it works.
Despite being a bit of a nerd, I think graphics should be more art than science, and I can't imagine what people are going through who wouldn't call themselves nerds.
I have no idea how you'd make it simpler and more intuitive, all those drop down menus filled with lists of bizarre acronyms seem necessary, but there's got to be an easier way, hasn't there?
