Color picking from library not working

Hi,

In After Effects CC 2018, I have a problem with my color picker. If I remember correctly, before, I was able to pick colors from my library with the color picker, but it is not working anymore somehow.

When I try to change the color of my shape with the color picker, it does not recognize any color outside of my preview window, and therefore also not in my library window.

Am I doing something wrong, is this a new feature of CC 2018, or is something up?

it's still same in AE CC 2018, so it look you have some issue, but as a quick solution try to use the system color picker, go to preferences/general and select use system color picker (checkbox).

First make sure the shape layer is not locked (if you are working on a template)

It might also be an issue with your graphics card, so try to switch renderer to GPU then get it back to Software Only from

the project settings and restart your system or try to update your graphics driver to the latest update

Are you on a Mac or PC? Mac's can even pick up outside the interface. I think the PC may not. Don't have a PC to test on so maybe a Window's user can better answer that one.

Tried the system color picker, but I don't get an eyedropper if I use that one...
