Colors are washed out after I export After Effects File to render.

Question

I have been frustrated with colors in After Effects. I imported a Photoshop file into After Effects and everything looks great. The colors are all washed out when I export the file from Media Encoder or inside After Effects. I have tried Quicktime and H.264. I have tried adjusting the color tab under the Project settings. If seems like nothing works. I was even at the Adobe Max conference and even the After Effects experts didn't seem to know how to fix it.

Thanks for reaching out. Are you on macOS or Windows? In which media player are you previewing the output? Is it QuickTime? Can you test in a different media player or import the output file back into After Effects and see if there is a difference in colour?
