Common Extensibility Platform not loading. AE won't start

Sorry to hear about your issue. What are your system specifications (CP, GPU, RAM, OS version)? In addition to what the expert suggested, try running After Effects as administrator (right-click its icon and select Run as administrator) if you're on Windows.

Was AE working previously? If you feel that you’ve done all possible solutions you may want to consider using the Adobe Cleaner tool as a last resort. Please be fully aware that if you follow this process all Adobe Apps will have to be re-installed.
