Could some body help in this please. I can't see anything in my comp panel. I create a solid light blue color here but I can't see it as well. What is the problem?

    Hi wafam,

Thanks for reaching out. It appears as if the preview is not getting refreshed after adding the solid layer to the composition.

    • Did you try turning Caps Lock Off as suggested by @Andrew Yoole? It could be an issue causing the preview glitch.
    • If that does not work, then try the following steps:
      1. Test the issue on a new project first.
      2. If you are getting the same issue on every project, then switch video renderer by following this path: File > Project Settings > Video Rendering and Effects > Use > Mercury Software Only > OK

Let us know if it helps.

    Thanks,

    Shivangi

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. The option to switch the video renderer is not available with CC 2015.2 version of After Effects.

    • We need to check if your graphics card driver is updated to the latest version available on the manufacturer's website. As asked above by @Mo Moolla, we need your graphics card information.
    • Along with that, please share your system specifications(OS version, RAM, CPU, etc).

Is the Caps Lock key on?  Caps Lock tells AE not to render the current frame.
