Does your system meet the Minimum System Requirements? What version of AE are you using? What are your system specs? Without any details, the only suggestion that anyone can give you is to try Trashing your Preferences by holding down Shift + Alt/Option + Ctrl/Cmnd while AE is opening, or you can try updating AE, rolling back a build, or even a version using the Creative Cloud app. You could try reducing the size of AE's disk cache, allocating 4 or 8 GB of ram to other applications. You could try running AE with everything else, including your Anti Virus turned off. You could try updating your GPU drivers.

That's about it.

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver)

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
