Content Aware Fill Issue

Hello. Working on a mobile short film challenge for my school and I am simply trying to use the content aware fill to remove the camera and tripod from the shot. Behind the camera and tripod is a shower curtain that I thought would be a pretty flat background to fill in. I have tried to create a referance frame but I get lost so quickly. Here is a shot from before the content aware fill, and the reult I have currently that I am trying to fix.
