Question

Content aware fill taking upwards of 7 hours to "render" its a 5 ish second clip, its of a car but it only did 104 out of 241 frames in like 7 hours

Made a mask around the koenigsegg, tracked the mask, then made sure the mask was set to subtract, then i made a reference frame in photoshop with the generative ai, which worked fine, then i pressed “generate content aware fill layer” and it took around from 10am-12pm to “analyse” which it made my MSI crosshair a16 HX d7w with 32gb phyiscal ram nearly get destroyed, it made disk 100% for 2 hours, it created a non stopping page file of upwards of 180GB, it then made my cpu spike and stay at around 70%+, it then after 2 hours started “rendering” it, which took from 12pm-3pm AEST, and i had to just stop it, cause it had only rendered 104 out of the 241 frames. the clip was of a koenigsegg jesko, also i made sure to set the work area to fit the clip so it would be faster.

That seems very odd for it to be taking that long. What CPU do you have?

What resolution was the video file you were trying to do this on?

i have a laptop, its a ryzen 9 7000 series its a 7459hx or something, and its in 4k prores (the clip im using), but im also using quarter res, oh, and for some reason, ever since yesterday morning, even just object matt for a car or object makes my memory/ram go from 18gb to 29gb usage, then once im finished with the mask, it wont go back down until i close AE, also, ive never really updated AE with creative cloud, as i use my high school account, but i never really use it online, due to having no internet
